The introductory note at the point that reads “…questions of central concern for health” prompted me to reflect on who actually determines what constitutes a central concern for health — the population, the researcher, or the funding source?

Thanks for sharing. Curious though, at what point is science tied to emotions even as we pursue ideas and questions that matter in a rigorous way. I fear group thinking is the norm and many would rather purse these three traits as if prescriptive rather than the heart of the matter. In other words when do we move from the head to the heart or do we ever?
